Create beautiful right-off-the-beach waves!

STEP 1: Starting at the crown, part hair into star pattern dividing into 8 equal sized triangle sections.

STEP 2: Starting at the front half of head, using bender tools, wrap front section vertically at 45 degrees directing it towards the back of the head.

STEP 3: On the next section behind the first, working towards the back of the head, wrap vertically at 45 degrees, directing towards face so that two sections are wrapped in opposite directions. Continue oppositional directions of each section until you reach the back half of nape.

STEP 4: Complete texture service according to texture efx directions.

STEP 5: Style as desired.

STEP 1: Direct hair from left to right in a curve.

STEP 2: Divide into 3 sections from one point at center of nose using zig zag partings.

STEP 3: Place 3 rollers on top front of head. 1st roller is on base to the right (rolled down).

2nd roller to the left (rolled up). 3rd roller to right (rolled down).

STEP 4: Divide sides into 3 sections horizontally using zig zag partings. Top roller is rolled down. Middle roller (small roller) is rolled up. Bottom roller is rolled down.

STEP 5: Complete top, back and nape sections using alternating direction and roller size.

STEP 6: Complete texture service according to texture efx directions.

STEP 7: To get final look, air dry or style with hot rollers or curling iron.

STEP 8: Wrap hair around roller.

STEP 9: Secure by using a plastic clip or by inserting perm rod inside roller, then secure rod.

Curves Ahead

Try this faster-than-ever foil wrap technique for modern voluminous curls.

STEP 1: Start at the front hairline. Taking zig-zag partings, develop a base one diameter of the size of the foil tool. Wrap on base. Continue wrapping in this manner to the crown.

STEP 2: Moving to the side of the head, using zig-zag partings, continue wrapping hair and placing on base. Repeat on opposite side.

STEP 3: Nape area is wrapped in the same manner using a bricklayer effect.

STEP 4: Complete texture service according to Quantum 5 Extra Volume or Texture EFX directions.

STEP 5: To get final look, air dry or style with hot rollers or curling iron.
